, Hallowell Elementary School serves approximately 450 students from kindergarten through grade five. We also house students enrolled in our four-year-old pre-school program. We are located at 501 West Moreland Avenue in Horsham. Our building was recently constructed as we welcomed our first group of students in the spring of 2017. The staff at Hallowell Elementary is a dedicated team of lifelong learners whose mission is to work collaboratively with one another and our community partners for the betterment of all our students. Evidence of this mission can be seen throughout this website as you will find information about our curriculum and student activities. Our students receive quality instruction in a variety of areas, including language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Embracing the concept of “teaching the whole child,” our students obtain a rich understanding of music and the arts, as well as health, guidance, technology, and library / researching skills. We also strive to balance academic skills with social and emotional competencies. Even with the challenges school districts are facing due to the ongoing global pandemic, we remain steadfast in our commitment to provide all children with a quality and first-rate education. In addition, we are fortunate to have an active and involved Home and School Association providing an abundance of family activities. The HSA is comprised of interested families who work together with the school administration and faculty to encourage participation in the educational process. The many efforts of our Home and School are greatly appreciated. I look forward to the opportunity to continue to serve our children and the Hallowell community.
